Day 1: Arrive in Mexico City, visit Casa Gilardi
Meet your personal driver outside customs and enjoy a private transfer to your Mexico City hotel. Tonight, visit Casa Gilardi, the last house built entirely by the legendary Mexican architect, Luis Barragán. It’s a classic example of the influential architect’s work, displaying European high modernism and his vivid, inspired use of primary colors.
Day 2: Visit the National Anthropology Museum, Museo Jumex, and Museo Soumaya
Enjoy privately guided tours around some of Mexico City’s best museums, starting with the world-renowned National Anthropology Museum, home to art and artefacts from Mexico’s indigenous peoples. Next, visit Museo Jumex, a renowned art museum home to works by Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, and much, much more. After, tour Museo Soumaya, an architecturally stunning museum containing sculptures from pre-Hispanic Mesoamerica, 19th- and 20th-century Mexican artists, and an extensive collection of works by masters including Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dalí, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, and Tintoretto. Day 3: Private Mexico City emerging designer tour

Take a glimpse into what is trending in Mexico and internationally, meeting recognized and emerging designers and learning how their pieces are conceived and created. Visit designer studios, workshops, and showrooms to watch pieces being created and learn about the inspiration behind each brand. There is also the chance to buy directly from each designer if you so wish.
Day 4: Tour Luis Barragán House and Studio, LABOR Contemporary Art Gallery
Join your private expert guide for an afternoon visit to Luis Barragán House and Studio, now a museum exhibiting Barragan’s work. The experience continues with a short walk to visit contemporary art gallery, LABOR. Founded by Pamela Echeverría in 2010, this space has established itself, not only through exhibitions, but also through reading groups, screenings, and an open library with hammocks! After, see interpretations of Mexican life at two more photography galleries – chosen closer to the time when availability is confirmed.
Day 6: Tour of Chapultepec Castle and nearby museums
In the morning, enjoy a guided tour of the National Museum of History, located in Chapultepec Castle. With your expert guide, walk its walls and garden, learning all about its fascinating history. After, visit Museo Tamayo, principally dedicated to the former private collection of artist Rufino Tamayo and contemporary art exhibits. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. We recommend a stroll through Chapultepec Park and down Paseo de la Reforma Avenue admiring the always-changing art exhibitions that lead the way. Upon completion, you will be driven back to your hotel for the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 7: Mexico City private architecture tour of Casa Pedregal, Capillas de las Capuchinas, and Cuadra San Cristobal
Enjoy a full day exploring the works of legendary architect Luis Barragán; one of the most important architects of the 20th century and the only Mexican to obtain the Pritzker Prize, the highest award in architecture. Experience a private visit to Casa Pedregal (formerly known as Casa Prieto) a private residence part of the Jardines del Pedregal. Next, visit Capilla de las Capuchinas, the famous Chapel and Convent of the Capuchinas Sacramentarias. Then, visit Cuadra San Cristobal, which displays a fascinating combination of international modern design and the traditional styles of Mexico’s ranchos and haciendas.
