Australia and New Zealand Discovery Trip

My Australia favorites:

• My stay at the posh Langham Sydney Hotel, in a secluded neighborhood but walking distance from the harbor.
• First sight of the Sydney Opera on a boat ride
• Morning walk from Bronte Beach to Bondi Beach in Sydney. Lunch at Icebergs. And a graffiti art tour. 
• Day trip to Manly Beach, spent on a bicycle and ended with the perfect lunch at Hugos Restaurant 
• The restaurants in Sydney - i must say Hubert and Chiswick were my fav.
• The Australian bush on a remote property in the Northern Teritorty - Bamuruu Plains 
• Appellation dinner and wine pairing at The Louise in the Barossa Valley
• The Grey and Red Kangaroos while doing a 3 hour morning hike in Arkaba Homestead - Flinders Ranges in South Australia 

 
And New Zealand:

• This could be one of my most memorable experiences: a day spent with a Maori Chef "Tom" in Taupo, teaching us about his culture, traditions, dance, and cooking  
• Poroni Lodge
• Split Apple Retreat - one of the most gorgeous properties i've ever been to. And the view of Able Tasman National Park from my room.
• Road trip pit-stop for some fresh Crayfish - Nins Bin
• Hapuku Lodges and Treehouses 
• Eichardt's Private Hotel in Queenstown
• One of the best burgers in the world in Queenstown - Fergburger
• Helicopter ride over the magnificient mountains and Lake Wakatipu - a must do
• Adrinaline junkies will love Queenstown - what i did was the Shotover Jetboating and that was enough for me
• Going on a winery tour
• Waking up in the morning for the sunset view at Matakauri Lodge - wow wow wow

Away from the crowds of Milford Sound you can fly into the more Southern Fiords and have the peace and tranquillity of this remote unspoilt land to yourself.  Stop for a walk, picnic by an alpine lake, walk on a glacier.  All in a day in Fiordland.
• Jet Boat Picnic with Locals: Really hang out with down to earth Kiwi’s and enjoy a day on the river, jetboating to remote and wild areas before stopping for no ordinary lunch on the river edge.  Treats that maybe on offer include crayfish, venison patties, paua (abalone), whitebait – all caught locally and barbequed just for you.
