Day 1: Arrival to Puerto Vallarta and a boat ride across the Bay of Banderas
You will be met at Puerto Vallarta airport and privately transferred to the marina. Meet the Xinalani staff and embark on a panga boat ride across the bay, taking in the magnificent views of the city. Upon arrival at the quaint, beach-side town of Quimixto, where your yoga resort is based, check in to Xinalani. Light, freshly made Mexican snacks and homemade fruit juice will be waiting for you. In the late afternoon, head to the yoga studio on top of the hill where a restorative yoga class will be offered. After, head to the dining patio for a Mexican gourmet-style dinner that includes fresh fish, seafood, and chicken. All meals will be part of a balanced diet.
Day 2: Surf, yoga, and a beach jog
Wake up bright and early to catch the sunrise and enjoy and surf session. After a healthy snack, start a hatha yoga class and finish with breakfast. Take time to relax before embarking on a sea kayak adventure, followed by light barefoot jogging on the beach with some stretching and dip in the ocean. Before bed, enjoy a session of restorative yoga and relaxation. Remember, all your planned activities are optional, take the ones you feel like doing and relax when you want.
Day 3: Hatha yoga, wild swim, and free time
Today is packed with excitement, starting with a hatha yoga class and, then, breakfast with fresh pressed juice. After, enjoy a wild swim before a healthy lunch, free time on the beach, and another yoga session. The day ends with a delicious dinner packed with all the nutrients and goodness you need.
Day 4: Visit Downtown Puerto Vallarta
Enjoy a lie in this morning, followed by breakfast and a hatha yoga session. In the afternoon, a boat will pick you up and transfer you to Puerto Vallarta’s Downtown to explore the city. Visit the famous Playa Los Muertos before heading back to Xinalani in the afternoon for a relaxing massage followed by restorative yoga and meditation.
Day 5: Xinalani
Today, you will take a relatively easy hike to Quimixto’s waterfall. Once there, take a chance to swim in its refreshing waters before returning for breakfast. Then, pick up a surf board or stand-up paddle board and head out onto the ocean. Restorative yoga, dinner, and a tribal music group is the perfect way to end the day.
Day 6: Morning jog, temazcal ceremony, and beach party
Kick off the day with an energizing run on the beach before breakfast with freshly pressed juice plus a hatha yoga session. After, you will have the chance to enjoy a temazcal experience, a pre-Hispanic cleansing ritual that has been practiced in Mexico and South America for around 1,000 years. Later, take the chance to join a cooking class or even scuba dive before dinner and a bonfire party on the beach.
Day 7: Day at leisure
The final day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may opt to go to the peaceful and isolated cove of Majahuitas for swimming and snorkeling. After a sightseeing boat ride, you may also visit the charming Yelapa, a traditional fishing village nestled in a stunning bay. Hike through town to the waterfalls and, depending on the time of year, go for a swim! Spend time back at the beach for a delicious seafood lunch in a restaurant of your choice (meals not included), before heading back to Xinalani.
Day 8: Departure from Puerto Vallarta
Depart the beautiful Pacific Coast by private transfer to the local international airport.
